Lendlease has unveiled its latest waterfront residential development, Ancora at Collins Wharf, located at 971 Collins Street, Docklands.
Daniel Dugina, executive director of development at Lendlease, noted that the remarkable success of the company’s neighbouring Regatta at Collins Wharf development, launched in mid-2023 and with over 80 per cent of units now sold, has spurred the early release of Ancora.
“Ancora at Collins Wharf is the next stage of our ongoing commitment to deliver more housing in prime locations in Melbourne, with the precinct stretching the city’s famed Collins Street further westwards to engage with the water, connecting its maritime past with the contemporary vibrancy of the city,” said Dugina.
Designed by architect Warren and Mahoney, Ancora is a 28-storey development, which will offer 303 residences with uninterrupted views of Victoria Harbour or the Yarra River across to Port Phillip Bay.
The development comprises 276 one, two and three-bedroom apartments, known as the Waterfront Collection, featuring high-quality fixtures and fittings, contemporary interiors and efficient floor plans maximising natural light. Additionally, a Premier Collection of 27 exclusive residences, including townhouses, penthouses and larger apartments, will be available soon.

Residents of Ancora will benefit from a range of amenities, including a hotel-style lobby with concierge service, a private dining room, and two rooftop terraces on levels 4 and 16 boasting panoramic views and lush landscaping, along with a winter garden. The building will also be connected to the neighbouring Regatta at Collins Wharf development via a podium, providing access to various wellness facilities, including an indoor swimming pool, spa, sauna, steam room, gym and multipurpose rooms.
Designed as an all-electric building with electric vehicle infrastructure, the development will target 5 Star Green Star certification.
As part of the Collins Wharf precinct, Lendlease is delivering new public spaces. Ancora will be surrounded by over 5,000 square metres of new parkland, including a green space designed by landscape architect Openwork, inspired by First Nations culture, and featuring Indigenous plants, fitness stations, covered seating areas, play zones and open lawns.
Located within walking distance of Melbourne’s CBD, Ancora will offer easy access to the city’s best hospitality, sports, arts and entertainment venues along with various transport options.
Construction of Ancora is set to commence later this year, with expressions of interest now open and completion expected in 2027. Early works for the Regatta at Collins Wharf development are already underway.
